The main aim of the role is to pick up and drop off staff up to and from arranged location points in Basingstoke / Reading and deliver them to The Loddon School promptly for their shifts to commence.
You will perform vehicle checks ensuring that basic maintenance is upheld and that there us enough consumables such as windscreen wash and diesel for the vehicles to be used during the day. Included in maintenance is reporting any issues that arise from driving the vehicles. Reporting any accidents immediately. Ensuring vehicles are roadworthy the the day ahead. You must also ensure the vehicles are left clean and tidy at the end of every journey.
The ideal candidate will provide a warm and welcome journey for current and new staff. Be flexible to changes that might occur at the last minute. Have good communication skills and be able to build relationships with staff and managers.
You must be over 21 years old and have had 3 years of driving experience.
You must be punctual and reliable.

Hours available:
- Vacancy 1 : 17.5 hours per week – Tues, Weds, Thurs, Fri and Sat 6.00am to 9:30am
- Vacancy 2: 9.5 / 10.5 hours per week – Tues, Thurs, Sat OR Sun 6.00/6:30am to 9:30am
- Vacancy 3: 18/22.5 hours per week – 4/5 evenings a week between Mon – Sun 6.00am/6.30am – 9.30am
- Vacancy 4: 9/13.5 hours per week – 2/3 evenings a week between Mon – Sun 6.30pm – 11pm
*There will also be an opportunity to pick up hours when covering additional pick ups as the service grows, and to cover holidays.
Salary
£12.54 – £13.20 per hour
