Loddon School is looking for a dedicated and passionate Sous Chef to join the Catering team.

Role

The role is to assist the Catering Manager to prepare and serve daily meals for children and staff, and to complete the preparation, cooking and service for the evening meal. Food should be cooked fresh and using healthy methods at all times. The Sous Chef will be responsible to run the kitchen in the Catering Managers absence and may be called upon to help with the ordering of food deliveries ensuring stock is kept up to date in a timely manner. Ideally, this candidate will have a wide breadth of experience in a kitchen and knowledge of supervision. This role is varied, working in a fun environment with a flexible team.

This is a full-time role based on the rota in the catering department and will include working 1 in 3 weekends. The salary for the role is between £20,810 – £23,049 per annum.

Hours of work: 

You will be working a flexible 3 week rota between the hours of 7am – 6pm. Shifts will generally be either 7am – 3pm, 9am – 5pm or 10am-6pm.

Working 1 in 2 weekends.
