Monday to Friday 8.30 – 4.30 including school and bank holidays. 35 days annual leave per year.

The Loddon School is both home and school to 30 children between 8 and 19, with severe learning difficulties and autism associated with complex restrictive behaviours. The overall purpose of this role is to support the school principal, school leaders and office manager by providing a comprehensive review and administrative service to the school, resulting in a welcoming environment for staff, parents and visitors.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30-4.30 including school and bank holidays. 35 days annual leave per year.

The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge and understanding of an office setting, be able to work as part of a team but also able to work alone at times. Must have an extensive knowledge and understanding of how to use word and excel. The job role will be to ensure that reviews are organised, typed and distributed, working towards deadlines. The candidate will be answering the telephone responding sensitively to parents and professionals. To be welcoming and warm when professionals and parents come to visit their child at the school. To take minutes confidentially during senior meetings, must be able to use their initiative and adaptable to change. The ideal candidate will be confident, hard-working and pro-active. You must also be understanding and empathetic to the needs of the children of the school.
