Plenty of sensory play exploring moon rocks during the space weekend. The children created a space ‘Wow’ board and sent a picture to Tim Peake in space, and we were all delighted when he twitted us back direct from outer space. (See our twitter site for more information)

Creative arts subjects are important in our PLLUSS curriculum and with drama, music and art available the students are able to explore a wide range of creative arts.
Taking on the restaurant experience at our local ‘friendly’ pub the Spruce Goose, the students dressed in their Christmas jumpers and enjoyed the festive fayre.
At the school stables the staff and children re-enact the Christmas nativity story and enjoy singing Christmas carols.
All students (and staff!) took part in the school’s celebration concert ‘Cinderella goes Country!’
We gathered together and heard the story of St. David told through pictures Chris made a poster of Welsh dragons The students showed the daffodils and leeks that they had made We all waved flags and danced to the sound of the children’s chosen music – Tom Jones
