The Loddon School® receives regular inspections from Ofsted for both its care services and education provision. Under the Care Standards Act 2000, the school is inspected twice a year to assess the effectiveness of the service and to consider how well the school complies with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the Guide to the children’s homes regulations including the quality standards. The school’s education provision is inspected about every three years.
The overall experiences and progress of our children and young people living inThe Loddon School® are good.
“Activities are first class. Young people, who need structure in their day due to their disability, have a wide range of pastimes to participate in, both on and off the premises”
Parents comment on “how there is a lovely, positive, homely atmosphere.” One parent said “her son has the quality of life he deserves due to the staff who are compassionate and understanding”. A further parent said “it is clear that staff have a very good bond with the young people.”
