The Loddon School, based in Sherfield-on-Loddon is both a home and school to 30 children aged 8-19, who have the most severe and complex learning difficulties and severe autism. Our children live at the school 52 weeks a year. The Loddon School is a home which provides education, leisure, play and outings.
We are looking for a enthusiastic and passionate Team Co-Ordinator to join the Loddon School. The role will be to work closely to the Children’s Services Managers and colleagues in promoting and maintaining an environment which is consistent with the highest standards of education, care and well-being and achievement of the children.
You must develop and deliver a suitable waking day curriculum for each child based on the school’s philosophy and the principles of the PLLUSS approach. Within your role you will be required to help plan and organise the daily staffing within your house whilst being responsible for ensuring your unit runs smoothly throughout the day.
You will have a willingness to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding which will culminate in achieving the Edexcel Diploma for Residential Childcare Level 3 within the first 2 years, which is mandatory for this role.
Having a NVQ Level 2 in Team Leading will be desirable, however this can be completed within the first 12 months of employment.

There are two vacancies currently – 1x full time, permanent position and 1x full time, 12 month fixed term position.
Salary: £18,013.00-£23,608.00 per year
